The Department of Instrumentation Technology was established in the year 1978. The department has the state of the art facilities to cater to the needs of undergraduate, post graduate and research programs. The Department has well experienced and dedicated faculty with four doctorates, six pursuing their Ph.D and three with M.Tech. The Department has well equipped laboratories such as Electronic Circuits, Instrumentation, Process Control, Microcontrollers, VHDL, ARM processor, DSP and provides good computing facilities to impart quality technical education. The department has well-focused research centre concentrating on recent advancements in the area of Image processing, Real time Signal Processing, Speech and Biomedical Signal Processing, Biosensors and Power Converters. The Department library is enriched with a good number of books relevant to the program. Campus placement for students is excellent. Students have excelled in their academics and are placed in reputed companies. The department is proud to have distinguished alumni, who excelled in their career with outstanding performance at the global level.
