Dr. Mahanand is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Science and Engineering, Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE), Mysuru, India. My current research work focus on several projects related to mapping degenerative brain changes that result from typical aging as well as changes that result from dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. The work involves methods for identifying individuals who have brain pathology related to Alzheimer’s disease using advanced structural neuroimaging procedures and machine learning.
