H N Rajendra Prasad obtained his  M.Tech in Structural Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal University in the year 2011. He is currently registered for his Ph.D in JSS Science & Technology University, Mysuru. He is currently working as Assistant Professor in Department of Construction Technology & Management, JSS Science & Technology University, Mysuru. He has organized and attended several workshops and conferences in the arena of Civil Engineering. He successfully coordinated in establishing a Post Graduation course named  Infrastructure Engineering and Management under the Department of Construction Technology and Management and is also serving as a PG coordinator to the course. He has also established a research centre at JSS S&TU campus funded by TEQIP-II. He is a life member in the Association of Consulting Civil Engineers.

Research and Development

Coordinated in establishing a Post Graduation Programme - Infrastructure Engineering and Management under the Department of Construction Technology and Management in the year 2017 under JSS Science and Technology University. Infrastructure Engineering & Management (IEM) prepares students to become effective managers and decision-makers familiar with the modern techniques of construction management, engineering management and infrastructure management.
Establishment of “Centre for Road Safety Urban Eco- System and Transportation (CRUT)” -Research Center at SJCE campus funded by TEQIP- II.
The centre facilitates with equipments/software such as
Fatigue Testing Machine – For determining the relationship between the stress range and the number of times it can be applied before causing failure.
Vissim- For comparing road network and junction geometries, analysing public transport priority schemes or considering the effects of certain signalling.
Noise dosimeter- For determining the noise levels of various zones.
