M S Maheshan obtained his M.Tech in Information Technology from SRM University, Chennai in the year 2012. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at JSS Science and Technology University, Mysuru thesis entitled “Person Authentication through Sclera Segmentation & Recognition”. He is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Science & Engineering, and on additional charge he is also working as Assistant Registrar (Administration), JSS Science and Technology University, Mysuru. Before this he also worked at Marwadi University, Gujarat and served the duties of Gujarat Technological University. He has organized several workshops and conferences related to the field of Data Mining and Analytics, Machine Learning, Android Application Development. He also worked as a Member of Scientific Committee in organizing Indo – US Conference on Emerging Trends in Health Care. He has certifications from British Council for English Executive course at Upper-Intermediate level, Microsoft Technology Associate [MTA] on Security Fundamentals. He is member of Computer Society of India (F8002023) and Associate Member of Institute of Engineers (AM1716339).

The project has jointly collaborated with Quinnipiac University, USA, JSS University, Mysuru and JSS Science and Technology University, Mysuru.
Project Title: Discovery and Translational Sciences, Global Libraries.
November 2016 to Till Date.

Purpose: To improve contraceptive education in Karnataka, India, by designing a game-like tool that creates and manages the user’s ideal virtual family to identify cultural norms that influence family planning decisions.
