Construction Technology and Management

The Department of Construction Technology and Management (CT&M) was established in 2004 with a vision to produce well trained engineering graduates to cater the needs of construction industry. The Department is empowering the students with innovation, research and entrepreneurial thoughts ever since its inception. The graduates are being well placed in industry, academia as well as Government sectors. The Department of CT&M at JSSS&TU provides a full education within the integrated fields of Civil, architectural and project management. The courses span from introductory classes on bachelor level to advanced courses on master level and doctoral programs. The Department has well experienced and dedicated faculty with two doctorates, seven pursuing their Ph.D. The unique combination of faculty members with expertise in structural engineering, geotechnical engineering materials, construction technology and management, building services and good laboratory facilities brings an interdisciplinary research culture in the department. The Department is enriched with good supporting staff and library with good number of books relevant to the programs, The department has good track record of campus placement and internships, excellent laboratories with latest software’s and state of Art equipments, class rooms with multimedia projection, 24/7 Wi-Fi Facilities. The department is proud to have distinguished alumni, who excelled in their career with outstanding performance at the global level too.

To accomplish distinction by empowering students with technical and managerial skills so as to gratify the needs of society and construction industry through professional and ethical approach.

  • To effectively communicate construction engineering challenges, concepts along with managerial techniques.
  • To provide quality education by promoting high standards of professional ethics through transparency.
  • Educating students professionally by promoting creativity, innovation and encouraging team work.
  • To enhance technical know-how by means of industry interaction and exposure to latest trends in the field of construction technology and management.
