Dr. A B Hemavathi, presently working as Assistant Professor at department of Polymer Science and Technology, JSSSTU (SJCE), Mysuru, has completed BE (Polymer Science and Technology) at SJCE, Mysuru and M Tech from  NITK, Surathkal. Under CSIR (GATE) fellowship Ph D was pursued at CFTRI, Mysuru in the year 2012. Published two book chapters, 10 journal papers and presented about 18 research papers at national and international conferences and symposium. She is a Life Member of Indian Rubber Institute (IRI), Indian Plastic Institute (IPI), Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and Associate Member of Institution of Engineers. The main area of research interest are biopolymers, polymer recycling, membrane processing, food packaging applications and nanocomposites.
