JSS Science & Technology University is coming into existence at a crucial time in the evolution of Technical Education in this country. The Technical Education has been going through an evolution and the training and delivery of Technical Education personnel needs a change. This State Private University of Science & Technology is an effort in this direction.

We were founded by JSS Mahavidyapeetha whose motto is “education for all” and more aptly for social transformation. In Technical education starting in 1963 we have come a long way.

We realize a great demand for people who can take up responsibilities, work at challenging and multicultural environment and in varied fields.JSS Science and Technology University is established with a firm motive to cater to the needs of the Society. Taking into consideration expanded horizons and the concept of ‘shrinking world’, the University plans to expand its tie-ups with many prestigious universities in the world to provide a global exposure to the students and enable graduating students from the University to compete globally.

The efforts towards academic programmes which are relevant to changing scenario like manufacturing sector, infrastructure management and social relevant technology all have to be reflected in the porgrammes as they evolve. This needs academic programmes to continuously respond to social requirements, R&D, Entrepreneurship and working closely with the society over outreach programmes and other aspects to be considered in the new curriculum.
